Like the rest of the world, Moran Family of Brands is currently dealing with an unprecedented time, due to the global pandemic associated with COVID-19.  Being in the auto repair industry, our Mr. Transmission and Milex Complete Auto Care stores have been designated as essential businesses and are currently open and serving our customers.

In these uncertain times, Moran Family of Brands is committed to continuing to provide customers with the outstanding service that they have come to expect at our stores. Here are some ways that we’re ensuring that our customers have a safe and complete auto service during their visits.

Keeping Customers Aware

Stores across the country are altering their hours and policies in order to adapt to the fluidity of customer demand and government recommendations for social distancing. Our auto service brands are currently open, and we have increased our messaging to make customers aware of this fact. Chainwide, we have also increased our social media efforts to alert our customers which stores are currently operational and if there are any altered hours in their local market.

Non-Contact Services

A large majority of our franchisees have begun to offer complimentary tow-in and tow-home services within a specific radius of their respective location. If pick-up is unavailable, customers have the option to drop-off their vehicles after hours as well. Rather than the typical face-to-face interaction experienced at our stores, our franchisees will contact the customer with their vehicle’s results via calls, text and FaceTime when available.

Additional Safety & Sanitation Measures

The safety of our staff and customers is very important to us. Technicians at our franchises have stepped up their already high standards to include additional safety measures. When a vehicle enters one of our stores to be serviced, the interior is sanitized not only following the service, but prior to the service as well. Anyone working on a vehicle will be wearing protective gloves, and in some cases, facemasks as well. These additional safety measures are in place to decrease the overall spread of harmful bacteria inside a vehicle.

Discounts for Essential Workers

From medical workers to restaurant employees to grocery store staff, as a society today, we would be in danger without the efforts of essential workers. At Moran, we want to ensure that essential workers can continue to get to work reliably, which is why many of our stores are currently offering vehicle service discounts to essential workers during the COVID-19 crisis.
