Jason Kuriger puts the customer on a pedestal at his co-branded franchises Milex®, which does general automotive repairs and maintenance, and Mr. Transmission®. He says that operating both out of the same building in Crest Hill, Illinois, has been a win-win, although finding and keeping good staff can be a challenge. “I want to get the right people who are motivated for the right reasons and on the same track.” When interviewed for this article, he was losing two valued technicians because of moves.
